On our toes

Her: You're the first Asian guy I've ever been attracted to.
Me: Ah, you're missing out. We're lovely. Plus, wait until you meet the really good looking ones.

----------

I recently hung out with Burn, one of the girls I met a couple weeks back.

She's very cool. We're not each other's types, mainly because she's looking for a nice Jewish boy and my last serious relationship made it clear that's not a route I'm interested in traveling (again (and again)).

Burn's a dance coach and she was with about a half-dozen of her fellow dancers Friday night. My luck running straight and true, all lovely ivy-league grads, none age appropriate.

Doesn't matter though, still a fun night. I'm sure I'll see her again as she lives around the way and I like her company.

I love that you really never know what's coming up next in NYC.

Keeps us on our toes, yeah?

I love being on my toes.

Music: I fall on the floor and I'm laughing

I was actually looking for the Times 2 version, which is totally obscure but I can't find it anywhere.

BTW, check your email, I just shot you something.

Oooh! How cute is that! I especially like the intro. Think I still like the high school kitchen band sound to S&G's version better, but that's fun.

What's in the NYC water? The boys *ARE* cute. If memory doesn't fail me, I think I managed to get whiplash from looking at all droolworthy men.

George Hamilton excluded of course.

That's a picture I never thought would appear anywhere on any of my posts.

You're the first Asian guy I've ever been attracted to.

Huh. You must see things a lot differently than I; I think I'd take that as an insult.

Oh, I thought it was insulting - part of the reason that one didn't last very long...

Oh good. Not just me, then.

I was flirting with a guy once who said "Yeah, man, I normally don't even go for white girls!"

I'd already pretty much decided I wasn't into him, but that cinched it. :P

That's why you've gotta find a way to move here perm-like.

Nice change in icon!

I had this thing with an ex; she loved reality TV shows and I could take em or leave em. A weird thing cause friction between two people, but there it was.

I know you're an addict - why? What's the attraction? Also, does it take place in NYC?

It takes place in a house on the CBS lots in Los Angeles.

I think the inter-personal dynamics are fascinating, it usually blows up into a lot of drama.

What's "age appropriate"?

I just had this talk with a woman I met last night. For me, it'd be 25-31, with 28 being the ideal.

Everyone I meet these days is 19-22, which, while nice, is not right for me, I don't think.

you'll have to hang out at places other than college joints if you want to meet more age-appropriate girls. :P
